You know, today is just one of those days that makes you see God's glory whether you want to see it or not.
It is just gorgeous out today!! And where am I??? Chained to my computer. I'm going to try to figure out how to put up a counter to count down my days in P.A. school. August 2005 seems sooooooo far away!
Nothing big happening around here. My parents came over yesterday and it is quite obvious to Royce and me that my mom is getting worse and worse. Dementia is the cruelest disease I have ever "met". When I think of what my mom used to be like, it truly breaks my heart. Especially seeing that Kyra is more advanced at 3 yrs old and that Spencer is quickly approaching my Mom's upper limits. I have no idea how my dad does it. I'm soo thankful that we have my mom in a day care program. God was really guiding us when we found that facility. It may end up being the place where we ultimately place mom.
My dad brought over Chicago for us to watch last night. What a great movie!! I was soo impressed with the acting, singing and costumes, it really blew me away. If you haven't seen it, lemme give it the official Leesa 5 star rating.
Get yer butt up off the couch and git it!
Well, gotta do more research. Take care and all that jazz.

I am so glad you have that facility for your mother. I am at the opposite end now, dealing with a mother who *thinks* she is getting better, and well enough to move out on her own... and drive!
Okay, you convinced me. I *will* watch Chicago.
I've heard nothing but rave reviews about Chicago so Karen and I will definitely check it out soon.
So sorry to hear about your Mom. I'm very glad that the facility is there for her.
It's a beautiful day here in Rhode Island, too!
sorry about your mom. i remember my grandfather (dad's dad) had dementia too. it was very difficult. take care and Godbless.
I am so sorry about your mom, hon. But, consider yourself lucky that she has such a wonderful facility to go to.
A beautiful day out and you're at the computer? Come on......save that counter work for a rainy day which will come soon enough.
