  • Just wanted to let you know that my wee princess was a total champ today.  She got through her lil surgery without a problem.  To relax her they gave her versed....a drug that not only relaxes but has the benefit of giving you mini-amnesia re: your procedure.  Once it kicked in, she was hysterical.  We were pointing out Tweety bird on her surgical gown and she told us she was Tweety and proceeded to "tweet" like a bird.    Silly girl.  They gave us the tooth they extracted so I've got to run upstairs and sneak some moola under her pillow.  Think a twenty is too much for what she went through to get here?? My lil sweetheart.

Well, gotta run.  I want nothing more than to lie down, snuggle into my pillow, and sleep 8 hours.  I'll settle for 7 if they're good solid hours.    Y'all take care, y'hear?

  • Hooray for Kyra!  What a good girl.  And glad that the ordeal is over for you and Royce.

So what would you have me drinking then?  Don't be telling me any of those namby-pamby drinks as I'm strictly a beer drinker.

  • Alright there WISENHEIMER, I find one called DeGroen's and I did mention to Forklift that I had sampled Clipper City.  I almost ordered a Yuengling but that's Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, National Bohemian went out of business years ago like our Narragansett did here in Rhode Island.

I normally don't drink Corona, I drink Canadian beers like Labatt and Molson.  However, Corona was easier for my buddies to remember than Clipper City.

  • Yay! for versed.  We used it for our son's surgery and he was singing "Row Row Row Your Boat" at the top of his lungs as the nurses carried him away... ...

Good news, Lees.  I'm so glad to hear it!

  • $20 sounds about right.  Maybe more....

  • I'd settle for three, if they were good solid hours.  LoL!  Glad the procedure went well.

  • She's a real trouper!

  • Stumbled upon your site... Grew up in Laurel/Columbia, MD.. just wanted to say hey to someone still there in the old stomping grounds.. take care... give your daughter a big hug from someone that understands her plight~!
