  • Yummmm...we got our free ice cream cones last night!!  That was such a great treat.  I was holding Spencer when I got my cone (strawberry in a sugar cone) and the little guy got sooooooooooooooooooo excited he tried ripping it right out of my hand.  Unfortunately, since it was strawberry, I couldn't let him have it...daddy had to share his Oreo cookie cone.  heh heh  Whoever said mommy's aren't smart?   (f.y.i. babies aren't 'sposed to have strawberry anything until they reach a year due to allergy concerns)  Kyra totally enjoyed her first real ice cream cone.

Tomorrow is orientation for my P.A. program.  I'm excited, nervous, anxious....I just want the program to be underway!  I'll let you know how my classmates are, give you the "low-down on the competition/classmates"

Oooh, update on my mom.  She has been accepted into the program to go everyday!!!!  So, M-F she'll be picked up at 9 and then my dad goes to get her at 3.  He is soooo happy that she has this outside care and he now has that help and relief.  My uncle (my mom's brother) and my brother continue to be real a$$e$...and I essentially told my uncle that in an email.  It's like they are relieved that mom is getting care and *phew* that means they don't have to be a part of this mess.  Uh, WAKE UP AND SMELL THE FREAKIN' COFFEE!  My dad still needs our support, we both need respite every once in a while...stand up and be a part of this family!  Sheesh, I'm sorry, I just get soo po'd by my family and their lack of responsibility.

Y'all have a super day!!  Survivor is on tonight!!  Whooohooooo!!!!

  • Thank goodness for ice cream, 'cause families can be real pains in the arse!

Good luck with your P.A. program.  I'm sure liking my P.A.  **much** better than my doctor.

  • Isn't that sad the way family members see the elderly as a burden?  Here's a news flash for them:  we'll ALL be there one day.
